A photo speaks a thousand words, well yeah pretty cliche no doubt but this literally screams it all out into the face! It is most definitely about time dudes..

Never been that amazing at mathematics but if ever there's such a thing as Fashion Calculus, think I'd bother paying much more attention to. Anyways, today's entry purpose is to cover on the fact that Androgyny, or rather being/dressing up androgynous is quite heating up. Face it! Guys are taking trips down Femmeville and our ladies are more than keen suited up! It's been a few seasons till date that elements of Androgyny is pretty constant down the runway.

Holycow, the world really is changing.. Not!

Infact, chaps in skirts, heeled footwear and tights existed ever since the Edwardian Era. But I simply don't get why such a phase died off along the way in the world of Fashion. I mean, what is so wrong about walking out of home in skirts or tights? And even if it might seem ridiculous or appalling to our stereotypical men, then hmm.. I wonder why oh why do designers still have them lingering in their collections.

Like it or not, Androgyny is here to stay even if it's a temporary visit! IT. IS. HERE. And for Men's Fashion Week S/S 2012, runways are vomited with tremendous amounts of skirts and dresses. Yes, made for all you Sirs out there! It isn't just within the collections itself that Androgyny exists, but castings of male models too -bonjour Prettyboys!

Below are some of my favourite picks from MFW S/S 2012. Not too sure about you guys but, it seems that guys are highly capable of pulling of such skirts and dresses pretty well as our ladies! Or perhaps, even better. Just saying..

I'm not saying that all of us Men are traditional, but as time passes, more and more of us guys are being really adventurous and experimental in terms of fashion. Which hands down is a good thing! When we speak of fashion, one should never think that such a superficial world's reserved for just women. Men should start realising that having fun with your wardrobe doesn't drop you a notch off from your Masculinity Throne. I mean come on, does it really hurt or kill to drop one's ego just for a bit?

As you've seen from my picks off the runways, they are entirely of monochromatic colors which in a way instill some sense of masculinity within, no?

And even if you still think that Androgyny is best of friends with stupidity, then why do male Fashion editorials chooses to go on an adventure too? Perhaps the photographer would like to convey a message, perhaps you might think that stylists or basically the entire creative team's nuts. Perhaps.. Despite whatever the reasons are, it's undeniable that Androgyny revolves around it.

Why yes, after all the rambling you'd probably already be all judgmental and developed an impression that I'm one of those psychos and my.. You're right! I'll admit this though, wearing a dress and skirt actually feels much comfier than skinny jeans that suffocates! And since Androgyny is of existence, I believe one shouldn't be gawking at it or be all alienated to it. All I can say is.. Are you really that Man enough?

Again, let's do some calculus! So for Galliano (sad for the chap who's in court for his hearing) S/S 2012, you've got it right! It's an infusion of military, red indian, trashy rocker, and yeah.. You can include Baywatch in too.

I'm not that much of a fan for bold colors, but that doesn't mean I do not appreciate the existence of it. At every catwalks of Galliano, it has always been fun, poetic, extreme; well.. Drama you may call it. But hey, that's what that gives character no? It's always a joy and amusing seeing works of Galliano!

For MFW S/S 2012, Galliano took a trip down memory lane and revisited the 1960s era. Frankly speaking, an immediate reaction when I chance upon his collection was that I thought of Paradisco! -a French gay musical short film on everything disco in the 1960s. (I'll have the videos attach at the end of this post!) It is evident in his collection that it is not heavily serious as some other designers had their collections as. Like I've said, all the bold flamboyant colors dominated his show whilst he had some rocker looking outfits to tame down the fun a little! Also, that's probably one of the reasons why I like this collection of his; for he infused colors and black together, pretty well! We all know that S/S gives us the liberty of stepping out of house feeling a-okay dressed as paddlepop, but seeing some blacks and monochrome in a S/S collection is no doubt a good breather!

Seems like not only do girls but Galliano wants to have fun too! Even when at the beach.

Teddy's Now Home!

Sorry, but I just had to find a best home for the no.1 beloved teddy. And I did! And again, I'm sorry. But I just couldn't resist to grab at least a bit off from the bundle of rose petals from the dance studio. All this for a humble home of a living thing. Yes, teddy's a family and so are it's close friends in it!

I'm awaiting your presence now at this godly hour.
I'm awaiting for my astronaut.
In to my galaxy.

Much love.
